At HHM Health, our pediatric clinic in the Victory Meadow neighborhood is offering mental health services and interventions beginning at age 4. At HHM Health, we believe it is important to address mental health from the first sign of illness or other issues.
The mental health services offered to children at HHM Health begin with an assessment. Then, our doctors develop a plan to address the goals desired by the child and family. While we offer a variety of services, the plan put together by doctors may include crisis intervention, skill training, development skills, play therapy, counseling, case management and peer services.
When a child is treated for issues regarding their mental health, there are many benefits. Children diagnosed and treated for mental health issues are more likely to succeed at home and in their community.
