Giovani Zelada, M.D. is a dual-specialized physician in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry with 5 years of experience, trained at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and staying at the forefront of advancements in both fields.
Dr. Zelada earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. His clinical interests include integrative primary care, medical psychiatry, and the connection between chronic disease and mental illness. He is passionate about delivering holistic, mind-body care and serving patients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr. Zelada is actively involved in professional development and education. He serves as Clinical Faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program at THR Dallas and is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP), American Psychiatric Association (APA), Association of Medicine and Psychiatry (AMP), Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians (TSPP), National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA), and the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA).
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Zelada enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants, cooking, being outdoors, listening to music, watching movies, and planning his next vacation.
