Dr. Renaisa Anthony is a physician, public health practitioner, and a champion for health equity. Born premature to a single mother in one of the lowest income zip codes in Detroit, Michigan, her humble beginnings exposed her to the impact of poverty and the social determinants of health on life outcomes.
As a result, Dr. Anthony is personally and professionally dedicated to advancing equity by optimizing the health, lives and wellbeing of underserved and under-resourced communities by integrating medicine, public health, advocacy, and prioritizing technology.
Dr. Anthony earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago, Master of Public Health from Harvard University, Ob/Gyn PGY training at Vanderbilt University and a Health Policy Fellowship at the NIH and the Office of the Surgeon General.
Her work has helped position technology at the forefront of healthcare solutions, ensuring that digital tools, data science, and AI are used to bridge gaps to advance equity across marginalized populations.
