Sophia Tinger, MD, is a highly skilled and compassionate Women’s Health and Family Medicine provider. She earned her BA in Biology and a performance diploma in French Horn performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory. Dr. Tinger later obtained her medical degree from UT Southwestern and completed her residency at JPS, specializing in family medicine with a Maternal Child Health fellowship, akin to an obstetrics fellowship. With five years of experience, Dr. Tinger is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Beyond her medical expertise, she finds joy in photography and showcasing her musical talent through French horn performances. Her most cherished moments, however, are spent with her family, including her one-year-old daughter.
